Let’s Celebrate and Honor Our Letter Organizations.

Dr. Kenneth Anderson’s first quilt ever made.

Founder Bio

Professor and Artist, Dr. Kenneth Anderson Taylor, founded Greek Street Boutique in 2015 after learning the process of quilting from his mother. It all began with asking her to make a quilt in honor of his beloved organization, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., to which she replied “only if you do it with me.” Though Dr. Taylor long admired her passion for quilting, he never really understood the love associated with it, just the beautiful outcome every time she finished a piece. After completing The Shield together, it’s safe to say Dr. Taylor also fell in love with quilting as an art form and set out on his own path to establish himself as a fiber artist. Though his journey began and remains focused on celebrating Divine 9 organizations, he ventures out from time-to-time to generate pieces which highlight the experience of Blacks whether in celebration of accomplishment, or to document horrific wrong-doings.
